Hello all, Lisa & I are so proud to be a member of the church family now. It took us a few years to do it but you have to remember I’m slow but I did get there. We kind of wish we had did it before but maybe we were just waiting for Pastor Elizabeth to do it.
Again thanks to the whole church and their welcome today and now there will be no one thinking we were a member all along.

This is your pastor writing her first blog…hope I do it right.
A huge thank you to our webguy for setting this up!
These are my initial thoughts about this blog:
1. I hope it provides a way to keep in touch with those who are not with us, either traveling or those overseas.
2. I hope we might find ways to deepen our faith
3. I hope we can discover God leading us to new places as a community of faith
Since this is the internet, I’d like us to remember never to use last names (you can make up a nickname for posting if you like!), never mention prayer requests by their real names, and never ask for prayers for someone without their permission. Just a rule of thumb I’m learning by watching election stuff: please assume everything you write here will be broadcasted to the person you were referring to and to the entire world when you run for president.
Since it’s Monday, here’s a question to get things going:
If you were awarded $10000 to give to the charity of your choice, where would you donate the money and why?
And on the lighter side, if you received $10000 to spend on a trip of a lifetime, where would you go and what would you do?
Blessings on each of you,
Elizabeth
PS. Anyone is invited to post to this blog: friends of FPC, visitors, members, people who have just found this blog, people who have no idea where Copperas Cove is, people who know someone at FPC…We just ask you follow the above guidelines and remember when you’re posting on this blog, you’re essentially in church. Please respect and enjoy this sacred space!
