Our pastor is
Naomi Brown Ingrim and her husband, Michael, have lived in Belton, TX for the past 20 years. Mike is a Mechanical Engineer. They have two sons, Joel and Nathan.
Naomi graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Omaha in 1980 with her doctorate in Clinical Pharmacy and completed two residencies thereafter, specializing in Drug Information and Pediatrics.
In 1997 she felt a tug on her heart to enter church work and served Grace Presbyterian Church-Temple for nearly 12 years as Director of Family Ministries and later, Pastoral Assistant.
She was commissioned as a Lay Pastor in 2001 and became a Certified Christian Educator in the PCUSA in 2003.
She has been very involved in the larger church, and active in national/ international mission (Guatemala, India).
In 2009, Naomis inner stirrings to attend Seminary were realized and she began her studies at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, graduating in May 2012.
Following Seminary, Naomi has worked at San Gabriel Presbyterian-Georgetown and most recently at Westlake Hills Presbyterian-Austin as Int. Dir of Childrens Ministries.
Naomi loves all aspects of the church but is particularly drawn to work in social justice, building intergenerational relationships, spiritual formation, and young adult & childrens ministries. She has a deep conviction for the centrality of worship.
Mike and Naomi both love music. Naomi is a pianist and bassoonist and Mike plays everything low brass. Naomi likes to cook, garden, and, of course, spend time with their sons .and their dogs, Epic and Ruby.
